It started with one classroom in 2005
SK Institute was founded on a simple frustration: bright students in our neighbourhood were leaving school without a single practical skill an employer would pay for. Twenty-one years later, that first classroom has trained more than 10,000 students.

Teaching first, business second
The first batch had six students and second-hand machines. Admission was kept within reach of every family, and classes ran late into the evening so students who worked during the day could still attend.
That approach never changed. Batches stayed small so every student gets personal attention, every course stayed practical, and counselling stayed honest — we tell students which course actually fits them, not the longest one.

The first classroom
SK Institute opens its doors in Mangolpuri, Delhi with a handful of computers and one promise — affordable, job-focused training for every student.
- 2009
Academic coaching begins
Demand from local families leads to school coaching batches for Class 6–12, taught in small groups with personal attention.
- 2014
Certified computer programmes
Government-recognised computer programmes — CCC, O-Level, ADCA, Tally — are added along with a fully equipped practical lab.
- 2019
Paramedical wing
Nursing and paramedical training launches to meet the growing healthcare demand, with practical lab sessions and hospital exposure.
- 2023
10,000 students
The institute crosses 10,000 trained students, with alumni working as developers, accountants, designers and lab technicians across India.
